Default RE: Which???

ORIGINAL: scale only 4 me

ORIGINAL: rc airplane nut

I'm Looking to step up to nitro, and wondering which is best. A little info about myself: I have driven wal-mart rc cars for a long time and bought a radio shack 1/18 scale dune buggy a few years ago and a Duratrax Evader ST last year and I have flown glow rc planes for 2 years( in other words I'm not new to glow engines).
You'll find these are much trickier to tune than a Plane engine,, but you'll get it.

Knowing what I know now after 8 years with cars/trucks, if I was only going to just bash around,, I'd jump head and get a 1/8th 4x4,, buggy or truggy,,
They are much more durable, handle rough terrain and grass better and are only a few more dollars for an entry level RTR car

You get board with a ST doing doughnuts quick

But of those 3, the AE car for sure

good luck

I would like to get a truggy but I have a budget of about $300 or less and I've never seen a truggy for even close to that, but if you know of one in my price range or a really good buggy I'm open to suggestions.
