A guy I know heard a RUMOR once...Now I am saying RUMOR because thats all I can take it to be....he heard a rumor from a military flier that one of the SR71's had gone a little to steeply into air a little to thin... Now I doubt that means it went on a one way ticket to outer space, but it sounded like whatever happened wasn't a happy ending.


I might add I have been up very very close to one of the SR71's at a museum.. And I swear the plane seems more and more like a ufo the closer you get.. It really is an odd feeling when you are right up near it. Its just so different. its hard to explain but I bet some of you that have been able to kick the tires know what I mean.
