Yes, I set the servos up so they are sitting out (inverted) not on their sides. As I recall, I put doublers on the ribs too to hold the rails.

I thought about mounting the servos on their sides for a cleaner install but decided against messing with plates/hatches. Around the same time I put together a Great Planes Shoestring ARF (the now discontinued .60 size) for my son and it had exposed servos in the wings. I realized they didn't look bad when the plane was flying and it was a bit simpler.

I think I had a similar mismatch on my wing too. I lined up the spars, the LE and the bottom sheeting as best as I could. I built mine with flaps and had to cut a hole in the top sheeting for a servo anyway so alignment wasn't critical there.
