That is pretty strange.

Should have your minumun pitch (0%) at the lowest stick position ( say -10 degrees).
Zero pitch (50%) at mid stick position and maximum (100%) positive (say +10 degrees)
at the highest stick position. Then adjust the percentages in the pitch curve of the radio
to what you want to fly with.
