OK, so I am wrong about them going super sonic. Not a surprise, but there is a noise that came from the prop when this plane was in a dive and the prop reached a certain RPM. Maybe not super sonic but it did get a growl to it that made us think it was reaching the speed of sound. Maybe someone can tell me what the sound was from? Was the prop deflecting at this certain speed and RPM?
