i run the 1400kv on 2x 3s (6s combined) gives me about 35k rpm with a 30mm, 3 blade prop, might try 2 blade and see if theres any difference, with the shim replaced with the thrust washer, you get about 3mm play, the shaft rotates so much freely now but will still need to drill the vent holes (might get a local engineer to do it for me), i will strip it down and post pics of what i mean when its all done, its worth trying just to reduce temps
