Recently the same accusation was made elsewhere by someone else, and the points raised by that person (so the correspondent referred to is not you!) were put to the Jet Modellers Association safety officer, who had this to say:

"I am sure that the manufacturers of PPM receivers would like the right to reply to your correspondents views. Properly designed and installed gas turbine fuel control systems should not interfere with PPM receivers.
The problem is no worse than that experienced by the electric flight proponents. I find your correspondents statements somewhat alarmist and suggest that he does make it worth his while to contact the JMA and GTBA and the engine manufacturers. I have not seen any statements from Simjet and Behotec in the instructions accompanying the engines which I have recently reviewed which warn against PPM receivers.
I always use PPM receivers on bench tests, even single conversion, and have not had any problems."
