Although it does seem strange, you all need to read his message again. Stop suggesting that his pitch curve needs to go from -10 to +10. He set it up that way because he does not fly 3D. And he says he set it up by the book.

Here is my take on it:
I think you used a mix of a 3D set-up (long servo arms and 3D settings on the head) that is the reason for your reduced pitch curve numbers.
Since the 600 is capable of going from at least -10 to +10 then it seems that pitch settings that go from 0 to +10 should correspond to a pitch curve of 0 to 50. on "normal" (3D) settings. With a shorter servo arm, and different settings on your mixing arms, you should be able to bring that pitch curve to 0 to 100 and keep your pitch settings of 0 to +10.
But then, are you sure you will never go for 3D? I learned the hard way that you should learn now to fly with a 3D pitch curve instead of trying to change later.
