I haven't made the dihedral covers yet, but I think I will use 1/16" balsa to make them later.

While glueing the wing together? I don't have to worry about that, because I'll use the dihedral covers to cover up the glue.

I didin't put pressure on the covers, I just set them in there.

This is my first scale model, so I'm pretty much wingin' this build.
