when it comes to brushed motor how much voltage could you run on a brushed or should i say whats the highest amount of voltage anyone has ever run on a brushed motor any turn
It all depends on what volt rating they have...
many are made for 7.2v but can run upto 9.6v without any issues
and some motors are made with a 24v rating and higher..
but most 540 are made for 7.2-8.4v and are capable of taking 3s as I've done on a sweet Team Orion 12x2 motor in my MF2 Truck..
That thing moved our real fast for a brushed truck.. I would say mid 50s no sweat
