A guy from Autralia used a product called 'Alsa Killer Chrome' Spray Can Application, same technique as yours, Black Gloss Primer than the Metalic Spray paint; this Alsa stuff is on the expensive side available in the USA .

From your pictures and the ones I posted here from that other thread, the finish is similar to each other, yours would be considerable cheaper; any thoughts?
