not sure if the RTR comes with a battery and charger for the roto-start if it don't a cheap 6 cell 7.2 volt battery (stick pack) and charger.

for a savage recommended is integy alum tank guard($15) to protect the tank from cracking incase you whack it, and RPM center skid plate($13) to protect the tranny and break pad from debris that might get kicked up into it.

other than that I have yet to break a part on mine and I've sent mine flying quite high into the air.
