Default RE: Why the AMA is not growing...........

ORIGINAL: skipperwayne

Thank you! Now I understand you guys a lot better. When it comes to respecting other peoples rights or opinions, obeying laws and safety rules that are meant to protect you and others, none of that applies to you. CBs are supposed to be limited to 5 watts input power but putting a linear amp on there and boosting it to umpteen thousand killowatts is all you care about, not that it might cause other people problems. And since the groups who are supposed to enforce the rules don't have the time or manpower then it must be OK to do what you want. It puts a whole new light on your attitude towards the AMA. Again, thank you.

Yea right... Heck, I have never even owned a CB radio...but I see you guys already got the rope. LOL

But if you work at it some you could probably come up with a scenario where CBers could destroy the world as we know it...you seem pretty good at stuff like that to me. Might make a prime time made for television movie of the week...on the lifetime channel LOL

Anyway, my point...that you guys are so hell bent to construe otherwise...is that model aviators are normally, overall a very careful bunch of guys…more careful than just about any endeavor I know of...there is at least one very good reason why...anyone want to take a guess why???

Anyway, if we were going to leave a particular hobby unregulated, I have every confidence model aviation would fair better than most any other I can think of…
