hermann... It depends on whether or not you really like nitro. If you're a die hard fan of nitro, get the Savage X. Electrics and nitros have their pros and cons.

In the end, money for electrics and nitro come out the same. Electric setups have a high upfront cost (charger, batts), but once you're set, you have everything you need. Nitro-fuel costs and maintenance costs will add up, so you can assume that the money issue is going to be moot between the two. With HobbyKing around, you can purchase a nice lipo set for around $200 for two batteries and a charger/balancer.
Good job contributing to a thread that has nothing to do with electric.
