Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

some forums are trying to say the Bullet will replace the MT2, and claiming the MT2 is now marked discontinued.
Rumor has it on the European forums the bullet will come out in feb or march also from what I can find.

but honestly I think the nitro bullet probably will tank big time, and probably should not be released (IMO). It doesn't really offer anything over the MT2 (except more shocks which look redundant IMO, and add weight) also it looks harder to work on.

Now the brushless edition might take off due to the lack of 4wd ST's in the 1/10th scale set, I see it fairly often WANT 1/10th SCALE ST in the elec forum. It also looks very simply put together and easy to work on. Personally after looking at some other recent HPI models that were abandoned in under a year(E-savage, Brama 10b, and Cyber 10), I'm hesitant to buy anything new that they make, (the e-savage I do not own but looked for parts to slap on my modded MT1, and could only find 1 dealer on ebay with them...) and think that reputation might just haunt them with this things release. I know its going to hold me up in purchasing one, because I don't want to be stuck with a $350 RC that I cannot find a single part for, or have to pay high premiums due to rarity in a year.(can we say $40 Brama 10b bodies...)
