Yep, I just went out to the shop to verify it.

Hooked the esc's rx lead in channel for landing gear.
Connected esc to a motor and to a pack.

Flipped the landing gear switch and full throttle motor on, flip switch off and motor shuts off.

Finally got a use for all those old brushed esc's now. Cool, beats the old servo operated switch.
