Default RE: CMP Zero Makeover

Thanks. Some of it has changed since those pix. Control horn lugs on the tail group have been removed. I made my own from G10 and saved a bunch of tail weight plus they are far less obrtusive visually. Power is an older second generation RCV 120sp and a variable pitch ground adjustable hub. The engine is still in the break in stage and not producing enough power to fly her well. At the end of the flying season I had played around with the pitch/rpm/thrust to weight/fuel thing and found a little more power. The engine is still breaking in though. I want to get it flying dependably before going farther with it. I think I will begin the CMP larger 80" Zero soon but still need retracts and servos. I'm just going to build it fairly straight forward for now and then add detail. Attached are some pix of the set up for the WM .60 size Zero and the engine for the CMP. I really can't wait to get it going, you guys have inspired my want to build it now!

Dang Chickenhawk, if you make your CMP look half as good as you did on the plastic model it will be awesome!
