Default RE: CMP Zero Makeover

ORIGINAL: Aluminum Overcast

Yeah, Mine has been sitting around too (over a year and a half!). I'm trying to ready a smaller .60 sized World Models Zero that I would like to use in our Tuesday afternoon warbird formation flying. We have been doing this for 15 years as a group! I'm also using this plane to experiment with fiberglassing then adding rivets, panel lines, etc. as I plan to do them my larger CMP Zero. I'll attach a few pix here of the .60 sized World Models Zero in primer. It's almost ready. I've had to deal with engine issues but it's close to another test flight. The weather here in Michigan is not that great for test flights at the moment....20 degrees for the daytime high......

My skills come no where near this kinda of detail ! WOW! I can only aspire to become as good great looking bird ! I hope you don't mind if I sit back and drool in silence LOL , this was my attempt at weathering a plane
