Default CX2 - Flying FAST

Wow. I just moved the servo links to the third hole in the servo arms (for both pitch and roll), and the model moves FAST.

It's hard to believe a coaxial can do this. Yes I have all the CNC upgrades and none of that really makes any difference except perhaps the swashplate, which now has some serious deflection due to the long servo throws.

Flybar is stock. No blade strikes yet.

As expected with a coaxial, you need to 'surprise' the flybar by pitching the heli quickly forward to get it going fast. Eventually it will start to slow down as the flybar does what it is supposed to do (stabilize the model)... but a way around this is to punch it with more power and ascend. It will deflect the flybar such that foward speed can be maintained.

I also upgraded to Tenergy 900mAh 25C and Lighting Power 850mAh 15C batteries. They deliver a lot more current than the stock batteries. I would never get the stock batteries again.

The other upgrade that really made a difference are the Extreme 180 motors. Ball bearing, heavier magnets, better ventilation, replaceable brushes.

To aid in cooling I cut the nose off the body so air can pass through.

Anyway, I am very impressed with it's performance as a non 3D helil.\

I will post a video soon.
