Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the forum.
That TZ has a crazy amount of power. You will not be disappointed. Just dont do 180's on full throttle or you will shred your diffs.
The stock tires dont hook up to well on the tracks. You should look for something in a pin type tire, they work much better.
The fuel tubing is the best solution to keep the dogbones from falling out. Just be careful if you use DB with too small a diameter. They will twist under the TZ power and they will eat up the drive cups.
And be careful with the alum a-arms. They are great for on road but they tend to bend rather then flex when used in off road jumping.
