You could do that, but as PilotLight pointed out, the brushed motor will burn out eventually, so you might as well get a brushless tail motor too.  There's nothing more frustrating than a crash caused by equipment failure.

PS.:  Sorry I didn't mention the BEC on the tail esc.  I knew I was forgetting something haha.
