An AMT using less fuel than a JetCat...a first for me You are ofcourse correct that big power in a clean jet can do this. My Lightning with P160 used to fly for 15 minutes...std tanks and UAT, infact even with it's new "heavy booted" new owner he still flies for 12minutes. My Big engine Composite Super Bandit used very little fuel in a 11 minute flight as it was blasts of power only.
Yes Skygate etc Hawk is way too light...funny it does so well in competition when it looks so "toy like".
Bigger jets will carry a big wing loading Reynold numbers rule, the UL wing is a lot bigger and more efficient than the old lighting wing, so I could be swayed.
