Please consider for a moment that occasionally life imitates the models. The world aerobatic championships were held in Oklahoma City back in 1996 (http://events.fai.org/aerobatics/EventDetails.asp?id=13) During the awards cerimonies at a local foot ball stadium Sean McMurtry TOC pilot did a routine with a 1/4 scale aerobatic model which included hovering and torque rolls. He got standing ovation from the worlds best 1:1 pilots. Ever since that day THEY've been trying to get enough power to imitate what the models can do.

Yes, scale planes should usually fly in a scale like maner, but as said above, it doesn't hurt to expand the envelope
