<div>Some time ago, the Cox Micro Warbird series of airplanes was very popular amongst the budget-minded modeling community. They were sold in an ARF setup for like $80, as well as a "foam only" offering (where you just got the airframe and brushed motor) for $20. Many modelers enjoyed the fun that these inexpensive RET (Rudder/Elevator/Throttle) planes offered, and many more modified the heck out of them (brushless motors, lipos, even modifications to add ailerons!). Whatever you were into, they were certainly fun to play with.</div><div></div><div>Then they just kinda disappeared from the RC scene.</div><div></div><div>Never fear, though. It would appear that they are back, but under a new distributor. Now keep in mind that these little planes are composed of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene - otherwise known as "bead foam" or "beer cooler foam"), so they won't hold up to a lot of abuse. However, if you build them light you'll have a winner on your hands! In fact, as cheap as they are, buy a few of them to share with your wannabe RC Scale Combat buddies!</div><div></div><div>Here's a link to the web page where I found them being sold:</div><div></div><div>
