RE: CX2 - Flying FAST
I can wait. I just broke the tail off of my CX2 when the roof got in the way of my flying fast practice. Our CX2 birds have the same motors and Tenergy batteries, but most of my running gear is plastic except for the CNC upper inner shaft bearing cup. The inner shaft is a Supershaft and the upper rotor head is extended for less blade strike. The linkarms are in the second hole and the flybar is not stock. It does better in wind with that setup without acting so squirrely that it becomes a poor camera platform. I thought it could go pretty fast. Must have, since I only had time to chop the throttle when I saw the roof jump in its way. Supershaft did its job, however. I expected all sorts of broken and bent bits, but only broke the tail. Should be able to fly again when the glue dries.
