Default RE: looking for a drifter

I beleive you've got a few options you could go the HPI route and get a HPI E10, or Sprint 2. Or you could go with the Tamiya TT-01D (possibly the most popular entry drifter?). I myself have only had experience with the Tamiya TT-01D so my judgement may be biased, but I've read up and seen both Tamiya and HPI cars and to me, Tamiya seems better. I don't know what your experience level with the hobby is, but be prepared. These cars will need maintanence and repairs. You will inevitably break parts!!! And buy new ones Go to your local hobby shop and see what they have too, no point buying a car that the local hobby shop doesn't sell spares for (although you can get parts pretty quick nowdays with online shopping).

Heres the HPI E10 Chassis

Heres a HPI Sprint 2 Chassis

And the (best) last the Tamiya TT-01D Chassis

Take a look at the "POST A PIC OF YOUR DRIFTER THREAD" (in this drifting forum) and you may get some ideas.
