yes it is worth it esp if it includes the hpp-22 unit. as mikes post seems to indicate. its a all in one package

not the transmitter software, Ijust mean the telemetry protocal so that people who are good with microcontrollers could code there own expansions to it.. Iwill be purchasing a telemetry kit when they become available.
Hmmmm, I doubt they would, but Mike would be the guy to confirm this. Would be good in a way son that guys who invested in Eagle Tree etc. can use their existing equipment. I would also get the telemetry kit as well, one of the other key benefits which made me buy this radio. At $260 for the entire package its more than worth it.
