Default RE: New Hitec Aurora 9-Channel 2.4Ghz Radio System

ORIGINAL: flycolorado
I don't think I'm going to worry about a Lipo, but I am going to do the cycle charge jack mod Striker came up with. Striker that is pure brilliance, it is very smple, safe and effective, I Iove it and it makes me mad I didn't think of it first. Thanks to your idea I'll be able to use my ACE Supper Smart Charger for another 10 years!
Many thanks for the kind words, I am happy it made sense to you too, I find that mod very practical and wont void the warranty. Your thanks are much appreciated, I love helping and sharing ideas with fellow RCers.

ORIGINAL: flycolorado By the way I will need a neck strap balancer (NSB), sorry all you purists, I just cant fly with thumbs and hold the transmitter at the same time (I can't chew gum while I fly either!) and this thing does not hang well at all.
I can fly a bit without the neck strap but i find so much better stability and have so much more control having a strap when flipping switches, sliders and turning knobs. Honestly, I dont think I can live without it. I am hoping this weekend to machine some bigger and more comfortable sticks like the ones I made for my 9CAP, http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_85...31/key_/tm.htm and I will also try to machine a neck strap balancer.

I am happy you are getting some stick time on your A9.

Happy Harrier landings.
