Hi guys,
New MT2 owner. I bought one secondhand, was the RTR one with the T-15 engine in it.
I have noticed that the clutch bell gear (is this called a pinion gear or is that something else?) doesnt sit flush with the spur gear.
The clutch bell gear covers about 70% of the spur gear mesh, but on my other cars their clutch bell and spur gear sit perfectly flush.
The chassis is not bent or anything. I noticed that the engine can only be moved left ro right to adjust the mesh, but not forward and back to adjust how level the two gears are.
Will this cause problems or does it not matter? I cant understand why it doesnt sit flush though. The guy who i bought it off said it has a new T-15 in it which only had about a gallon run through it.

Any help please? Also if i set the mesh too tight against the two gears, when i push the car freehand it makes a bad grating sound at a particular rotation, not the whole rotation though. If i set the mesh at a better level, it still makes this sound but much less noticeable. Any help please?
