So basically i could use 2 tritons in parallel (same cost as a litco!) for my Tx and Rx and use them as my only chargers?

Why do you say the Triton is a slow chargeR? I keep seeing it as a "fast" charger. Is that becuase you select the charge current, so you can set it as a fast or slow charger?

thanks

The term fast or slow charge is in relation to the actual capacity of the battery pack. C/8 to C/20 is considered slow charge, above that is going toward fast charge. This can go as high as 4C.

Example, the minimum charge rate you can set with a Triton (and never use the Auto mode - you are still smarter than a smart charger) is 100 mA. For a 110 mAh pack that you might use in a park flier this would be a fast charge. But that same rate on a 1300 mAh pack like you might have for a starter or in an electric plane it wold be slow charge.

The term trickle charge is often confused with slow charge. They are different. Trickle charge is the charge required to maintain a battery at full charge after it is charged. This is usually around C/50.
