RE: VQ BH P-40 Engine/servo suggestions?
Unless they have changed the ARF the ones with straight legs are moded. The gear legs in the kit are bent forward and the wheel well placed further outboard to accomodate them. This is done to avoid nose over problems. If straight legs are used they need to be angled some what forward to avoid nose overs. To do this I used Century Jets which travel 93 degrees, and also mounted them as for forward and high in the front part of the wing that I could. When retracted, they are still angled down some what, but not enough to notice. In pictures you can see where I had to move the wheel wells inward to use straight struts, also to enlarge them for bigger wheels.
