Default Update on VVSS conversion

I thought I would give a little update on my VVSS suspension conversion. You guys have seen it in action in the snow, and looks and performs well, however through operation I have determined there are a few things you can do differently to make it better. In time I will post pictures of these improvements, but for now I'll just state them, so if you are going to tackle this you know.

1. The brass pins that I used to pin the swing arms to the main housing do work out. I have had to use CA on the ends. I don't like using CA as an engineering fix. It would be better to use a a threaded rod for this. I have seen what I need in a servo, and just need to find a supplier

2. I got the pads all wrong on the torsion arms. THe torsion arms should have no pads on them. Instead use evergreen I beam as guide attached to the swivel arms.

3. The C channels inside the housing works as a guide for the travelling assembly. Ensure you keep tolerances between this and the guide pin tight. Too much slop will lead to trouble in the field.

I have used a couple of pictures to show where the improvments need to happen, but haven't got around to making them yet.
