I know that and have followed Beans excellant build , but on Thursday (this week) I received an ad from HP , in the ad they showed three views of the P40 , the bottom view showed normal retracts , not the ugly bent ones , however this could simply be a stock photo from the supplier to HP .
I am not about to buy another P40 at $239 plus shipping when in May the new ESM P40 will be released and will most like be far superior for about $100 more
