yes, BUT the quality of the CA type glues in the hobby shop are WAY better suited for our use.
I too have heard this claim, but don't know specifically why this is. Can you elaborate? Does it have to do with the property of the glue when it has dried?
I hate to be the negative nathan here,,,and this is just my opinion, but glue is glue is glue......I bought one bottle of zap and used about half of it and watched it turn into half a bottle of hard clear plastic....the 3 paks I buy, if I get distracted and leave a tube open, I'm out 33 cents....so I tend to over glue, but I look at that as a good thing,,or on an arf, I'll pour a tube down each side top and bottom,,now granted there are some tips that come in handy, but in my case if I cant reach it, just pour it on,,,you may have a favorite brand, and theres nothing wrong with that, ....its a sales pitch...right up there with "clothes make the man".......Rog
