I guess what gets me so mad is the fact that companies can advertise 4.2 HP, have it dyno at 1.9 and not get hit with a false advertising law suit...????
So, with all the reports and posts above, it makes mw wonder how accurate a notable and world renound company like Novarossi are when they put HP specs of 2.98 on ther Flash motor.
Hey Brent, any one running a Flash on the track where you race?
The company have their own rating, you can probably compare an OS.28XZ claims versus a OS.18TZ claim.
Or an LRP .28 vs an LRP .30 claim...
4hp is what a good brushless 6S setup will do with a very wide gearing.
The Xdyno is the most accurate(closest to reality) dyno for RC, it was built for that, and the dyno runs are corrected to temp, humidity etc...
I would also believe that the LRP 30 have about 1.8, but more torque under the curve than the LRP .28...
Im sure XRC or ABmods will have a dyno of the LRP30 one day
