RE: lrp .30
Supertib, when you talk about Piccos, it's not always clear if you're talking stock, or modded. You really think a stock Picco 28 will "blow the tires off the wheels"??
And secondly, a.) have you experimented with pipes, etc for the LRP as much as you have with a Picco, and b.) why don't you mod the LRP?
Crazily enough, I just won a brand new Picco 28 in an auction from a shop for a crazy low price - less than half the normal price. Was bored, so I bid.., and won.. Shops here seem to be dumping all their Picco 28's, for whatever reason.. Plan is to sell it for a small profit.. Anyway, I now have a new LRP 30, Dynamite Big Red 28, and Picco 28 for my two LST2's for this year. I will be selling the Picco for a variety of reasons..(mounting hassles in the LST2, chance to earn a profit in RC for once, horrible horrible experience with Italian engines in combo with my SW fuel thus far, etc...)
