You need to mount the retracts as far forward in the wings as possible to prevent nose over problems. The wing is mounted with a wing tube. There is limited space between the wing tube and the flap. To use larger scale size wheels, 3.75 to 4" the wheel when retracted needs to be centered between them. With the stock gear the wheel, when retracted is too far forward and will hit the tube which prevent full retraction. You need 1/2" longer strut so the wheel will miss the tube.
