I wouldn't consider that Tower Hobby plane to be a jet trainer.
A good 'trainer for jets' is something heavy (high wing loading) and fast. That little electric plane will not even come close to the skill required to operate jets safely.

A large nitro powered warbird is the caliber of plane to 'train' for jets.
