6900 is as fast as RTK's bm'er can spin a Xoar 23x8. But he is on a pipe. So 6300 might be a close number. What is a stock wrap around? If it's a Bisson they tend to be quiet but restrictive.
I followed toms advice on 1st start up- 1st start idle warm up, lean the low, as much as you can, lean for hi rpm, back out a bit..got 6800RPM on stock muffler and xoar 23A 3D!!! 1st run about 5 mins. I flew it havent tached it again after 8 tanks but for sure now more powerfull!!!
made a big mistake with my bme 116 I broke it in 3 tanks on the ground now im getting 6300 rpm on a menz 28x10 I should have just flown it after setting needles..[:@] counting on seating the rings and getting more!!!
