Spring came off of the screw on the spring start last Oct. and I finally got to it.
Any suggestions on additional things I should do to the spring start while I have it taken apart?
Oneway bearing seems in great shape. I only have about 30 flights on it. Got it in 1997. Flew it a little then stashed it till last year when I did a carb rebuild. Ran fine last time I flew it then spring came undone trying to start it up. I did not know what happened to the spring start so I did borrow an electric starter that day. I don't have a big starter so I've been just using the spring start.
Engine is magneto and I don't intend on any upgrades at this time cause I don't think I'll fly it more than 20 flights per year.
