Default DSX9 Glitching

Hi all. I am having some problems with my JR DSX9 Transmitter, and wondering if anyine has had any similar problems, or can offer any suggestions. It is 2years old, and I have had many trouble free (hundreds) of flights with it in all sorts of models, including around 100 flight now on my Baby Boomer.

Lately I have had some worrying problems. Whilst test flying my F15 it went into hold, fortunatly with minimal damage to the jet. I couldn't fault the Tx on the ground, passing range checks with no problems. FYI, power supply was via a powerbox, with duralite batteries, all redundant.

I was about to blame my JR921Rx fitted to the Jet , then yesterday, I was teaching a friend via a buddy lead flying an electric powered glider. Whilst on long finals it started "glitching". I say glitching, as it was turing on and off, on and off. It did this several times, before I finally regained control, and landed safely.

After landing, we bound my friends Spektrum 6ch radio to his glider, and I flew it to limits of my visability, no problems.....

So I am left with an unknown problem with my TX, and my jet flleet grounded.

I am wondering if bending the TX antenna all the time eventually causes a breakdown in that tiny little grey wire, and subsequent loss of transmitting power? The TX batteries are origional, but the batt meter has never shown anything but a well charged pack.

I really am at a loss here. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Greg
