RE: DSX9 Glitching

Not a glitching problem but I had a problem with a DSX 9, purchased around 18 months ago, here in Sydney. It worked fine for a couple of months, but then it stated occasionally “not connecting” when switched on. After a couple of tries switching on, it would connect, and then operate as per normal. However, one day I was working with it on the bench setting up a helicopter, and it suddenly went off line completly. This was very concerning as it would have caused a crash had I been flying. This fault was intermittent and could not be easily repeated.
The radio was immediately sent back to O’Reillys, (via the retailer) who simply replaced the complete transmitter free of charge, which I am very grateful for. Great after sales service. The replacement DSX 9 I have has operated faultlessly for over 12 months now.
I would suggest you get the radio checked out by O’Reillys.
