Perhaps it would be better to pettition the NSRCA to include a seperate economy pattern with non turnaround pattern rules and a 10 cc (or there abouts) limit? Using the old rules would mean both new and old planes built around those rules. People can choose between improving an old classic design or an entirely new desing.
