I'm hoping you'll start this up again sometime in the near future. I've acquired a NIB Taurus this week and like you I'm not a collector. Upon perusing the contents she isin extremely fine shape. The balsa is very fresh lookingand even smells so. The die-cutting is also very nice. This appears to be a very early 70's or perhapslate 60's vintage. It makes no mention of "proportional" gear usage so faras I have looked.Last time I had a Taurus in hand was around 1973. It dented my Sweetater savings but I'll just cut back on the black n tan's for awhile! I posted a few pics in Dave's Tiger Tail resto thread. Thanks.
