RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
I think the problem is that my engine is probably 25 years old. it has open pushrods and rockerarms . the carb is different from the 30s ( on the horizon site) as the carb body fits, with O ring seal into a curved chromed intake tube which is secured with a set screw into the head. The idle mixture adjustment is a knurled knob out side the throttle arm. this is one of the first mass produced 4S engines available. I do not think that Saito supports this model any more. I was hopping that i might find someone with a stash of a old parts on this site. As soon as i get my camera back i will send some pictures. Vic
