You want the two receivers to have their antennas oriented 90 degrees to each other.

If one antenna is horizontal, mount the other vertically.

The two stubs form one antenna in each casing.

Try to mount them as far apart as the provided wire permits, and DO NOT unwind the twist.

This permits each receiver to "see" a slightly different reception pattern, giving you better overall reception.


Don't wrap the receiver in foam. Instead use a piece of servo foam tape, or a small square of foam under the receiver, and affix it with a wire tie, or hook and loop, velcro, etc.

Wrapping the receiver in foam does not permit adecuate cooling airflow on most 2.4gHz...
