Default RE: 15cc Gas RCGF engine information thread

ORIGINAL: Piston

Hey All
A bit of a clarification

The OS .60 outputs about 12 pounds of thrust, the RCGF 15 is about 8 pounds of thrust.
It is great some of the customers are pleased with the performance of the engines.

Cheers
Henry
Lets see, no messy oil covered plane, flip and go, less fuel weight, and about 3 bucks a gallon compared to 20-25. And my personal favorite, A LOT better fuel economy. And did I mention no oily plane to clean up!

Piston, I agree with ya that a glow of similar size is more powerful but for a non 3d plane these little engines perform great. The smallest gas that I have at the moment is a G-20 in a Seagull 90 sized yak. Yes it weights 10+ lbs and is not a 3d'er, but that is not how I fly that plane and It does have unlimited vertical.
