I have a Saito 100 in a Hog and I generally use 15% nitro. Mine is on the heavy side of the weight listed on the plans - I forget now what the weight is. I have plenty of power for sport flying - more than enough really. I think a Saito 82 would be a satisfactory choice at my weight for sport.

But mine certainly does not hover. Not near enough rudder and it tends to snap out of a vertical violently as airspeed slows. May be something to do with my CG or wing incidence. The 100 might be enough to hold a hover at full throttle if my Hog's aerodynamics were right.
