Default Long time no fly...

Moved house ten years ago to the coast, where its usually pretty windy, got back into nitro and BL cars/trucks, and rc boats, well the flight bug is biting, own an fa18 hornet jet half built, its 1.7 metres long, its overkill and l keep it for display, never did learn to fly it, lol, at 10 grandAUD you can understand why.....
So lm looking for CHEAP, lol, cheap planes, l have an old piper [electric] l found in me shed, its probly 7 years old, from the last time l flew, 7 years, sheesh it went fast, l have 3 batteries which lm replacing with LIPO, so lm look for this in a plane, ,,To be light, small, cheap to replace and fix and be of reasonable strength, understanding planes are pretty piss weak !

l charged the piper batteries, took it out to run it, cranked the old brushed motor up, battery lasted 60 to 90 seconds, lucky l didnt launch !
7 year no fly, l recon l woulda crashed it !

Chuck in a link if you can to some cheap electric planes, l have my own 8 channel transmitter, so radio gear is not needed.

lm thinking, l was never the best pilot, aim for EASY to fly machines, electric please.

And any reasons why one design is better than another for begginners flight.

l can fly a mini chopper around inside me house fine, but planes outside in the wind, lol, exciting stuff.</p>
