This is a Panzer IV from 12th SS Panzer Division it was involved in the heaviest fighting in Normandy around Caen and hill 112 against English and Canadian troops, probably the best place to ask this question would be the “Axis History Forum” there are a number of historians and researchers on that forum who may be able to help
